The Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel has elected Bruce Celebrezze as senior director. Celebrezze, chair of Sedgwick‘s insurance division, represents insurers and reinsurers, with an emphasis on litigating coverage issues arising out of complex third-party casualty and first-party property disputes as well as life, health and disability claims. He graduated from University of Michigan Law School in 1979.

Robert Stumpf has been reappointed chair of the State Bar’s Appellate Law Advisory Commission. His one-year term is effective Oct. 12. Stumpf, a Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton partner, leads the financial institutions litigation team and focuses on commercial litigation and appellate law. He received his J.D. from UC-Hastings law school in 1976.
