SAN FRANCISCO — Former Pillsbury employment and labor partner William Gaus died in San Francisco on Sept. 21 after suffering a heart attack. He was 67.

Gaus joined what is now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman as an associate in 1974 and made partner in the early 1980s. He also met his wife, Therese Bohatch, at the firm. They married in 1978 and lived in Haight-Ashbury, where they raised six children.
