SAN FRANCISCO Jim Bower, executive director of the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, will step down by next June, the foundation’s board of directors announced Wednesday.
Over the course of his 13 years at the helm of the nonprofit, Bower raised its budget from $1.5 million to nearly $7 million, he said. This year, Bower expanded the nonprofit’s pro bono program by 50 percent, starting an eviction clinic and hiring a full-time pro bono coordinator, he added.
