Peter Harvey has received the 2012 President’s Award from the International Trademark Association. Harvey, a founding partner of Harvey Siskind, focuses his practice on trademark, trade dress, copyright, trade secrets and unfair competition litigation in federal courts. He received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 1972.
The California State Bar has appointed Robert “Perl” Perlmutter to chair its environmental law section executive committee. Perlmutter’s appointment took effect Oct. 14 and follows his one-year term as vice chair of the committee. Perlmutter, a partner at Shute, Mihaly & Weinberger, specializes in CEQA, land use, local initiatives and referendums, Proposition 65, the California Endangered Species Act, conservation easements and public agency law. He graduated from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 1995.
