SAN FRANCISCO Oakland city attorney Barbara Parker emerged from a sometimes nasty campaign to trounce her opponent, Oakland City Councilwoman Jane Brunner, at the polls Tuesday.
Parker took an early lead and kept it until all precincts had reported, winning the race with 68 percent of the vote.
