Jack “Skip” McCowan has been elected to a three-year term as a national director for the Defense Research Institute. McCowan, a partner at Gordon & Rees, focuses on drug, medical device and other product liability litigation, environmental litigation and commercial litigation, including matters involving trade secrets and unfair business practices. He received his J.D. from UC-Hastings law school in 1974.
Laura Mask and Natalie Khorochev have joined Shartsis Friese as associates.
