UC-Hastings law professor William Dodge has been named one of eight reporters for the American Law Institute’s Restatement (Fourth) of Foreign Relations Law. The multiyear project will begin with three topics: jurisdiction and enforcement, treaties and sovereign immunity. Dodge, an authority on extraterritorial jurisdiction, will focus on the first topic. He teaches international business transactions and contracts and graduated from Yale Law School in 1991.

David Goetz has joined Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton as an associate. Goetz, a member of the firm’s health and life sciences team, received his J.D. from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 2012.
