SAN FRANCISCO Greenberg Traurig welcomed two new litigators in the Bay Area this week: a former federal prosecutor to spearhead its white collar practice in San Francisco and a serial lateral to deepen its business in the Valley.
San Francisco-based partner Carolyn McNiven, who was hired from DLA Piper, is the firm’s first white-collar lawyer in Northern California. IP partner William Coats left Kaye Scholer to join Greenberg’s Palo Alto office, his fourth lateral move since 2001.
