Cal.Sup.Ct.
S054569
The California Supreme Court affirmed a judgment of conviction and penalty. The court held that a trial courts disparate treatment of a small number of prospective jurors whose written questionnaires showed ambiguity concerning their ability to follow the courts instructions because of their views on the death penalty did not reflect systematic bias and did not render the defendants trial fundamentally unfair.
