SACRAMENTO — For just the second time in a dozen years, the State Bar of California has filed public disciplinary charges against an attorney over allegations of unethical campaigning.

Clinton Parish, a former Yolo County deputy district attorney, is accused of creating campaign ads in 2012 that smeared Yolo County Superior Court Judge Daniel Maguire, the incumbent he was trying to unseat.
