SAN FRANCISCO — Attorneys at Goodwin Procter advised online money transfer company Xoom Inc. on its $101 million initial public offering.

The deal was well-received, with Xoom increasing the offering by 575,000 shares at the last minute and pricing at $16, above the anticipated range of $13 to $15 per share. The stock jumped more than 40 percent in its first few hours of trading.
