The court of appeals affirmed a district court judgment in part, reversed in part, and remanded the action for further proceedings. The court held in an amended opinion that political protesters stated a claim for violation of the First Amendment against Secret Service agents who allegedly required that they demonstrate at a distance from the President based on their views disapproving of his policies.
