It was almost too good to be true.

After an 18-month discovery fight that included two trips to the court of appeal, Lucia Coyoca was getting her first glimpses at email between creditors of her movie producer client, David Bergstein, and the attorney she was suing. They showed Bergstein’s former lawyer, Susan Tregub, had turned on Bergstein and was affirmatively working with the creditors to force Bergstein’s film companies into bankruptcy.
