SAN FRANCISCO — Morrison & Foerster is expanding its privacy and data security practice with a team of three lawyers from Foley & Lardner.

Partner Andrew Serwin, of counsel Peter McLaughlin and associate Daniel Muto joined MoFo in San Diego on Monday. The team brings much-needed expertise in health care and cybersecurity to MoFo’s 60-lawyer practice, said Miriam Wugmeister, chair of the firm’s global privacy and data security group.
