SAN FRANCISCO Gunning to grow in the Bay Area, Perkins Coie has recruited a seasoned environmental lawyer in San Francisco and an emerging companies partner in Palo Alto.
The firm announced the hires of senior counsel Edgar "Ned" Washburn and partner Lowell Ness this week. Washburn a longtime environmental lawyer whose practice centers on natural resource, energy, water and real property law joins the firm in San Francisco from Morrison & Foerster. Ness comes to Perkins Coie from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, where he built a practice focusing on venture capital, M&A, public offerings and private placements.
