SACRAMENTO They may be small in number, but members of the state court reporters lobby flex some serious political muscle in the Capitol.
Case in point: Just last Tuesday they persuaded legislative Democrats to kill a seemingly modest measure to allow electronic recording of family law cases when no court reporters are available.
