SAN FRANCISCO — IP partner Paul Davis has jumped from Goodwin Procter to Mintz Levin, the latest in the Boston-based firm’s San Francisco hiring spree.

Davis brings a practice that centers on IP litigation, strategic advice, licensing agreements and patent portfolio management, among other issues. Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo expects him to come on board Monday. Davis’ experience in life sciences and medical devices complements the firm’s national strengths, said Paul Churchill, managing partner of the firm’s San Francisco office.
