A bizarre civil case, involving allegations of demonology, has resulted in a contempt finding, a staggering award of millions of dollars in sanctions against attorney Michael Arcangelo of San Francisco, and an order referring him to the State Bar for possible discipline. Below is the order of Modoc County Superior Court in the case demonstrating what happens when court puts form over substance, Faustus v. Pop-UpSys, 2010-666.

Before the court is defendant’s motion for sanctions against plaintiffs counsel, Michael Arcangelo of San Francisco, and for an order to show cause why Arcangelo should not be held in contempt. Attorney Arcangelo opposes the motion. The court hereby GRANTS the motions.
