SAN FRANCISCO — Two veterans of the San Francisco city attorney’s office are slated to receive awards recognizing their work.

Chief deputy city attorney Therese Stewart, known for her leading role in S.F.’s fight for same-sex marriage, will get the American Bar Association’s Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award, which honors lawyers who have "paved the way to success for other women lawyers."
