SAN FRANCISCO — A veteran prosecutor who helped bring charges against Giants slugger Barry Bonds, the Unabomber and two disgraced Enron executives will take over next month as Criminal Division chief under U.S. Attorney Melinda Haag.
Haag has announced internally that J. Douglas Wilson, the current deputy in the division, will replace Miranda Kane who plans to step down in early June and return to private practice.
