McKenna Long & Aldridge has added Michael Durkee as a partner in the real estate land use practice. Most recently with Wachter & Wick, Durkee focuses on the creation and implementation of complex entitlement strategies, the California Environmental Quality Act, planning and zoning laws, the Subdivision Map Act, negotiation of development agreements and government relations. He graduated from Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 1984.

Patricia Peden has joined Kerr & Wagstaffe as of counsel. Peden, who previously had her own firm, the Law Offices of Patricia L. Peden, focuses on intellectual property and other complex civil disputes as well as class action, First Amendment and appellate cases. She earned her J.D. from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 1999.
