To improve access to legal information in eastern Alameda County, the Alameda County Law Library has partnered with the Alameda County Public Library to establish the Legal Resource Collection @ Dublin Public Library. The collection features a large selection of California practice guides, formbooks, legal self-help books and free legal database access. Local attorneys can leverage this new community resource to reduce overhead expenses.

The Role of Public Law Libraries

Public law libraries support the needs of legal practitioners and facilitate access to justice by maintaining collections of legal materials. The general public, self-represented litigants and attorneys use public law library resources to participate in the legal system, resolve legal disputes, engage in commerce, and tend to personal legal affairs.
