SAN FRANCISCO — Five real estate veterans have splintered off from Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis to start a small firm in San Diego.
Partners Thomas Crosbie, Ray Gliner, Dana Schiffman, Sean Southard and Craig Swanson — who have each spent more than a decade at Allen Matkins — ventured out on their own Friday. Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard and Swanson, or CGS3 for short, will field a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, financing, construction and leasing, Schiffman said. The partners broke away from Big Law so they could service their recession-bruised clients at more reasonable rates, he explained.
