SAN FRANCISCO — A woman-owned law firm founded by former DLA Piper partners this summer is expanding its ranks.

Sacks, Ricketts & Case — launched by litigators Luanne Sacks and Cynthia Ricketts as well as employment partner Hope Case — has recruited two more lawyers from DLA Piper. Former DLA Piper partner Margaret Parker, who fields complex business litigation and employment matters in San Francisco, joined Sacks, Ricketts & Case on Monday. Former DLA Piper senior associate Stephen Chiari, who handles consumer class action defense in Silicon Valley, came on board last week. Both will be partners at Sacks, Ricketts & Case, Ricketts said.
