SAN FRANCISCO — The Government Accountability Office issued a report on patent litigation Thursday, but lawyers said there wasn't much new in it.

The report, commissioned as part of the 2011 America Invents Act, follows tough talk on patent trolls from President Barack Obama, efforts by companies to recoup fees for frivolous lawsuits and the introduction of several bills wending their way through Congress.
