Paul Glad, whose big frame, personality and heart made him a fixture in San Francisco's insurance bar for 30 years, died unexpectedly over the weekend at Stanford Hospital. He was 63.
"That's a terrible loss for the legal community," said longtime friend James Wagstaffe of Kerr & Wagstaffe. "Paul is an omnipresent human being. It's inconceivable he's no longer with us."
