A team from Cooley has stepped in to defend the top executives of Ecotality Inc., a manufacturer of charging stations for electric cars, in securities litigation stemming from the company’s collapse earlier this year.
S.F.-based partner Tower Snow, and Palo Alto partners John Dwyer and Jessica Valenzuela Santamaria entered appearances Monday for Ecotality CEO H. Ravi Brar and CFO Susie Hermann in a pair of suits accusing the company of hiding defects with its charging systems that caused severe overheating.
