SAN FRANCISCO — After rejecting a prior settlement, a federal judge has signed off on a revised $4.75 million agreement between eBay Inc. and class of customers to resolve claims over the online auction site’s “Feature Plus!” listing.
U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar granted preliminary approval for the deal Wednesday, finding it fixed several “deficiencies” the judge identified in an August order. For instance, the settlement now includes a narrower release and gives claimants more control over how they would be compensated, he wrote.
