SAN FRANCISCO — Two lawyers from O’Melveny & Myers helped San Francisco’s Kabam Inc. become the first video game company to land the naming rights for a college sports facility.

Beginning in 2014, the field at UC-Berkeley’s California Memorial Stadium will be known as Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium. Signage with the field’s name will be posted at the two 25-yard lines, at the 50-yard-line above the Cal team bench and throughout the nearby stadium come spring.
