SAN FRANCISCO­—Morrison & Foerster partner Alison Tucher, an IP litigator who played a supporting role on Apple’s trial team, has been appointed to the Alameda County Superior Court.

Tucher is one of two lawyers named to fill vacancies on the Alameda trial court and among 20 individuals tapped for seats statewide on Friday by Gov. Jerry Brown.
