Video gaming news website GameSpot reports that Riot Games, creator of the popular multiplayer battle game “League of Legends,” won’t be using its patents offensively.
A user’s comments on the Santa Monica company’s subreddit page raised questions about the gaming firm’s future patent strategy. Riot Games was awarded Patent No. 8,636,589 on Jan. 28.
