The founder of Priceline.com is suing Google over photo tagging technology used on its Google Plus and Picasa sites.
Jay Walker, who stepped away from the travel booking site in 2000, filed a complaint together with his company and Inventor Holdings on Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Delaware. The suit accuses Google of violating patented technology for “suggesting meta-information to a camera user” with tagging features on the two photo-oriented sites.
