SAN FRANCISCO — Days before he was dismissed, the CEO of a San Francisco startup allegedly boasted that Cisco Inc. would soon buy his company for $760 million and invited acquaintances to invest, according to federal prosecutors.
But the acquisition was a fiction, and ex-Motionloft Inc. CEO Jonathan Mills is now facing federal wire fraud charges.
