Perkins Coie partners David Taylor and Joshua Reiten entered appearances for Sprint on Monday. In a complaint filed last week in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, the government alleged that the phone company marked up its bills to law enforcement agencies for wiretaps, pen registers and trap devices by 58 percent, leading to more than $21 million in extra costs.
