Julie Brooks was named general counsel at South San Francisco-based Veracyte Inc., a molecular diagnostics company that went public in October. Brooks is the company’s first GC. She comes to Veracyte from Mountain View’s Conceptus Inc., a publicly traded medical device company focused on women’s health. See story online.
Sabrina Ross joined Apple as a privacy counsel. Ross is a 2009 graduate of Berkeley Law School and was previously an associate in the San Francisco office of Ropes & Gray.
