SAN FRANCISCO — UC-Berkeley School of Law acting Dean Gillian Lester will be moving on next year to lead Columbia Law School, according to an announcement Wednesday.
Lester has been with Berkeley Law since 2006 and at the helm since August 2013, when former dean Christopher Edley stepped down early for health reasons.
