SAN FRANCISCO — An antitrust suit filed Thursday against Google accuses the company of illegally monopolizing the search feature on smartphones.
According to the complaint, Google Inc. entered into secret agreements with Android smartphone and tablet manufacturers, allowing the companies to load Google apps only if they made Google the default search provider on those devices.
