SAN FRANCISCO — As an engineer turned IP lawyer turned civil liberties advocate, Ahmed Ghappour has worn many hats over the course of an unusual career.
His latest venture just may be the culmination of all of them. Ghappour is joining UC-Hastings College of the Law this fall and will spearhead a criminal law clinic focused on technology and national security. Under Ghappour’s stewardship, Hastings students will help represent indigent criminal defendants in cases involving national security and cybersecurity.
