SAN FRANCISCO — In what may have been a coincidence, Cooley and Fenwick & West on Monday each released websites that catalog Patent Trial and Appeal Board decisions.

Cooley rolled out its PTAB Digest at 10:54 a.m., trumpeting it as the first of its kind. The searchable database compiles and categorizes decisions by the PTAB, a branch of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that was set up in 2012 to oversee patent validity proceedings under the America Invents Act.
