SAN FRANCISCO — Merger talks between Bingham and Morgan Lewis could create a combined firm that would instantly be a major player in the California legal market.
With more than 400 lawyers here, it would be the seventh- or eighth-largest by California head count, according to estimates by The Recorder. And it would be highly concentrated in some of the state’s hottest practice areas.
