SAN FRANCISCO — After less than two years with San Jose-based SanDisk Corp., senior vice president and chief legal officer Eric Whitaker has left the company to join Nutanix Inc., Whitaker confirmed Monday. He is the company’s first general counsel.
Whitaker, whose first day was Sept. 8, said he was drawn to Nutanix because of its innovative technology. He said the company’s quick expansion reminded him of his time at Tesla Motors Inc. where he served as general counsel from 2010 to 2012.
