SACRAMENTO – The Internet Association, the tech lobby whose members include Airbnb Inc., Google Inc. and Lyft Inc., has launched a California-based political action committee.

But don’t expect to see the PAC making a flurry of late campaign contributions before the Nov. 4 general election. Robert Callahan, TIA’s California executive director, said the timing of the PAC’s paperwork filing was coincidental to the upcoming vote.
