SAN FRANCISCO — A Florida non-practicing entity says Sony Computer Entertainment of America turned cold-hearted once a patent case was moved out of the Sunshine State and to the Northern District of California.

Rothschild Digital Media Innovations says it was working cooperatively with Sony until the Playstation maker obtained a transfer and then quickly moved for Rule 11 sanctions. Sony is now trampling on local patent rules, engaging in intimidation tactics and waging a "blatant and shameless" effort to mislead newly assigned Magistrate Judge Paul Grewal, say Rothschild's lawyers at Carey Rodriguez O'Keefe Milian Gonya.
