SACRAMENTO — Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday named 11 new trial court judges, including seven who will serve on Bay Area benches.
Edward Torpoco, an in-house attorney with eBay Inc. since 2006, will be joining the San Francisco Superior Court. A senior director and legal counsel at the online auction company, Torpoco heads the legal department’s cross-border commerce team. He was traveling in China when his appointment was announced.
