The Second Appellate District affirmed in part and reversed in part a judgment and remanded. The court held that California’s Uniform Foreign-Country Money Judgments Recognition Act permits a trial court to recognize a foreign judgment indemnifying a corporate plaintiff for criminal penalties paid by the plaintiff as a result of its officer’s unlawful acts.
