SACRAMENTO — President Barack Obama will travel to Stanford University on Friday to address the White House Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection. And boy, will he have plenty to talk about.

Recent revelations that hackers gained access to 80 million records maintained by health insurer Anthem Inc. have consumer advocates pleading for solutions to stop the regular drip-drip of news that another data breach may have exposed Social Security numbers, emails, addresses, credit-card numbers and even medical information.
