SAN FRANCISCO — Lawyers for iGate Technologies Inc. say a former in-house lawyer waited too long to sue the company over claims she was subjected to aggressive sexual advances by her boss, global general counsel Mukund Srinath.

Karetha Dodd resigned as the top U.S. lawyer at the India-based information-technology outsourcing company in 2013 and has accused Srinath of repeatedly propositioning her for sex. In particular, Dodd alleges that Srinath forcibly kissed her and placed her hand on his genitals while she was in India to visit iGate’s corporate headquarters in September 2012.
