SAN FRANCISCO — The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit won’t block the city of Sunnyvale from enforcing its 2013 ban on ammunition clips that hold more than 10 rounds.
Denying an appeal on behalf of some city gun owners, the panel on Wednesday affirmed a lower court’s findings that restricting large-capacity magazines inside city limits promotes public safety and doesn’t severely restrict gun owners’ Second Amendment rights.
