SAN FRANCISCO — Adobe Systems Inc. has won an “exceptional case” attorney fee award, though it won’t likely break the bank of a Texas nonpracticing entity.

U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken ruled last week that Digital Reg of Texas must pay Adobe for discovery misconduct and a surprise change in witness testimony. Adobe has requested about $60,000 for the misconduct, though Wilken has asked for more specific bills.
