The court of appeals reversed a district court order striking class allegations in a putative class action complaint and remanded the action for further proceedings. The court held that the district court misapplied governing circuit precedent by rejecting class certification on the theory that issues of individualized causation predominated where plaintiffs alleged that their Xbox game consoles suffered a design defect that scratched game discs.
